To provide new, properly fitting gym shoes and socks to local children in need.
Vision
Shoes 4 the Shoeless will relentlessly pursue our goal that no child endures the unnecessary physical and emotional distress that accompanies wearing socks/shoes that are grossly inadequate. We will strive to become a valued organization in our community, known for our faith-in-action.

Shoes 4 the Shoeless is a faith-based non-profit. What does this mean? It means we do what we do because we believe we’re called to love the poor in practical, action-filled ways. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about this!
Xenia Area Fish Food Pantry
Faith Community UMC is supporting the Xenia Area Fish Food Pantry through food donations, money and volunteering at the Pantry. Donation box for non-perishable items is located in the main entryway below the Mission bulletin board. Perishable foods may be taken directly to the Fish Pantry at 774 Cincinnati Ave, Xenia, OH 45385, and reported to the Mission Committee. This ministry is a true blessing as the hands and feet of Christ to those in our community in need.
Bridges of Hope
Simon Kenton Bridges of Hope is a faith-based, Christ-centered, non-profit organization dedicated to serving persons experiencing homelessness, poverty, and consequences of addictive behaviors.
Shawnee Elementary Partner
Henderson Settlement is a United Methodist mission located in Frakes, Kentucky. A variety of services are provided in this mountainous rural area including a thrift store, a food pantry, after school program, support to infants and their families, a library and senior services. Agricultural programs include cattle and greenhouses. Volunteer come from all over the country to work repairing homes and maintaining the facilities.

Every year the greenhouses at Henderson Settlement provide an opportunity for the children at the area schools to purchase flowers for their family members for Mother’s Day. Needed items include small NON-BREAKABLE containers and fabric ribbon. Please put them in the container in the narthex. Any questions call Ruthanne Lamb at 937-878-1586.
Wings of the Morning
Gaston Ntambo is a United Methodist missionary with “Wings of the Morning,” which transports patients and medical supplies in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
